ReplyDeletei think henry changed the most because at first he wouldn`t let fanny get a dog at all and in the end he got her a gift it was and he made a painting of dinner.

DeleteI think fanny has changed most. In the beginning fanny got nellie again but then her father took nellie away so when fanny got dinner she did not want to love her because she thought he would take her away (I could not think of a word.) In the end she believed her father would not take her things away

DeleteI liked how no dog died in this story. Usually a dog does die. Also I wonder why it was called protecting marie. Wasnt marie a doll
I think Henry change the most because He HATED dogs, like when Nellie was acting like a puppy he got so mad that He took her away, Then at the end of the story he love DOGS, like he did his panting for the New York art show all of DINNER! -Abby:)
