Pre-Reading Post

Write one "I wonder" statement you have about your book.  After you have written your statement, predict when you think you will find the answer to your wondering.  Here is an example from the book Dragon in the Sock Drawer:

"I wonder if Jesse and Daisy will get to keep Emmy without getting caught."

I predict this will happen in the middle of the book (the part when they may get caught) and the end the book will say if they are able to keep her or not.

    -Annie I wonder if the dog dies in the end.Because in almoast every dog book the dog dies in the end. then i cry!!!!!!!!!!!!

    That is very true! I love dogs so I cry when they die. I wonder why in most books they make the dogs die?

    i wonder is the dog going to get lost or somthing because it says protecting marie and protecting is like makeing shure that it is safe or not going away anway i think its in the middle of the book

    that fanny tries to protect marie her dog if
    she gets a dog and maybe she gets the dog as her other present from her dad who she hates.+who would get presents on your dads birthday im mean who gets present on your DADS birthday

      I think Fanny has changed the most of all the characters. In the beginning Fanny got the dog Nellie AGAIN but then her dad took Nellie away from Fanny, then Fanny got Dinner she did NOT want to have a good relationship between her and Dinner because Fanny thought her dad would take Dinner away...

      In the end Fanny thought that her dad would not take any of her special belongings away...
