What does the title of the book, Protecting Marie, tell you about Fanny?

    I think it does because it kind of tells that fanny will eventually be protecting something called marie. I think it may be a dog that she will try to protect like Nellie.

    That she might try to protect the dog on the front cover maybe the dog name is Marie. I thinkthe book is really good!

      I think because she might get a dog and name her Marie and she dose not want what happened to Nellie to happen to Marie.From.Abby:)
